GH fans, was it just so obvious today that Logan's a goner??

It was silly that after months of no real contact between Logan and Lulu that today he's all worked up about their "future"! He loves her, can't live without her all suddenly today. The writers never build a story, it never simmers, it's just POW, Logan goes crazy!
