Why are people so ready to accept man made reliigon?

When there is to much controversy about different opinions I always take it back to the basics to find the true followers of Christ. Those basics for me are the use of God's name, not celebrating Christmas, Halloween or Easter because of their pagan routes, and the dedication to preach to others.
