Which foundation should I use?

So, I have a lot of freckles, and as a result, When I use foundation it sort of makes my face a grey tint. And it makes my freckles look bad. The foundation I'm using now also looks cakey, and seems to only accentuate blemishes. What Kind of foundation would illuminate my face instead of dulling it, not be cakey, and will provide poreless coverage?
